“We are back again at one of our favourite film locations. The house works very well … with over 10,000 square metres of available space with multiple shoot options. We redecorated to suit our brief with no trouble, shot until 3am and used both the house and gardens extensively multiple times. Alex and Claire could not have been more helpful in ensuring that the set-up, film and strike days go as smoothly as possible.”
BBC PRODUCER
Trusted by leading brands and production companies, our location has played host to everything from high-end fashion campaigns to feature films and prime-time TV dramas. Recent shoots include luxury lifestyle campaigns and commercials.

THE HOUSE
Salvesen Graham, a Top 50 House and Gardens design studio, were chosen for their effortless ability to layer texture and colour to create timeless interiors with a quintessential British edge. Their interiors mix antique with contemporary and evoke a sense of peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday life. Smallwood Architects designed the primary bedroom, dressing rooms and bathroom as well as a new porch.

THE GARDENS
Emma Mazzullo and Libby Russell from award-winning landscape design studio Mazzullo + Russell redesigned the garden layout undertaking a detailed masterplan, which we are still working on! Top 50 House and Garden and Top 100 Country Life designers, Emma and Libby (who is also an RHS judge) took an approach that carefully considered the history, position and light, as well as local materials, its borrowed landscape and the soil.

THE GROUNDS
The extensive grounds provide exceptional year-round film and photographic opportunities. Within the 12 acres there are landscaped gardens, apple, quince and plum orchards, open grassland, a cricket pitch, wildflower meadows with mown paths, 200-year-old trees, two golf holes and bunkers, equestrian fields, stables and ponies, a children’s wooden playframe, an AstroTurf tennis court, herb garden, cutting garden and swimming pool. All these facilities can be used for filming, alongside Dilly, our Palomino miniature Shetland.

LOCATION
The house offers an ideal filming setting with its proximity to London and excellent transport links, making access simple for crews. Private parking and extensive grounds provide convenience and flexibility, while the house itself offers versatile spaces that can adapt to a wide range of productions. Its combination of elegance, accessibility, and practicality makes it a standout choice for film, TV, and commercial shoots.

FAQs
Is there space for crew facilities?
Yes, there are multiple rooms throughout the house that can be used as green rooms, makeup stations, wardrobe areas, or private rest spaces for key cast and crew members. Additionally, the driveway, outbuildings, and works area provide ample outdoor space for setting up production offices, catering stations, and equipment storage.
Are there any areas where filming or changes are restricted?
We’re flexible with interior adjustments, including changing wall colors and replacing artwork, as long as everything is returned to its original condition after the shoot. This allows for creative freedom while ensuring the property is restored as agreed. The only restricted area requiring specific permission from our insurance company is the pool area, due to safety and liability considerations. If your production involves filming in or around the pool, please inform us in advance so we can coordinate insurance approvals.
Are there any other insurance considerations?
On-Site Supervision: Either myself, Claire, or our housekeeper will be on-site during all filming hours to provide access, answer questions, and oversee the use of the property.
For multi-day shoots, the production team is required to arrange for 24-hour on-site security personnel. This ensures that equipment, sets, and the property itself remain safe during off-hours, reducing the risk of theft or damage. The house and gardens are fully covered by CCTV and alarm systems.
Is there on-site parking available?
Yes, there are approximately 12 parking spaces available in the driveway. Additionally, there are nearby facilities that can accommodate trucks, crew bases, and larger production vehicles.
What are the power and electrical capabilities?
The location has standard residential power suitable for basic use, such as charging small devices and running low-energy appliances. However, for film lighting, heavy equipment, and larger production setups, an external generator is required to ensure consistent power and meet insurance compliance standards.
What are the access hours and restrictions?
Standard access hours for the location are from 7:00 am to 7:00 am, covering setup, filming, and breakdown. For multiple-day shoots, these hours can be extended upon prior agreement, depending on the production’s needs.
